You'll work closely with the Executive Director and department leaders across our organization, including Development, Programs, and the ReStore.
If you're the kind of person who notices what needs to be done, figures out how to get it done, and doesn't mind wearing a few different hats along the way, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do

- Maintain organizational files, records, forms, calendars, and administrative systems.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits, PTO records, and routine HR administration in partnership with our HR/PEO.
- Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, utilities, security, access, and service providers.
- Manage vendor coordination, quotes, work orders, and follow-up.
- Coordinate purchasing, supplies, invoices, receipts, and credit card documentation.
- Support Board and committee meetings, including scheduling, materials, and meeting logistics.
- Provide administrative support for budgeting, financial reporting, audits, insurance, and Finance Committee needs.
- Support Development, Programs, and ReStore staff with administrative needs, records, events, scheduling, and documentation.
- Support HFHCC's social media presence by scheduling and posting approved content and helping showcase our events, volunteers, donors, programs, and ReStore.
- Track important organizational deadlines such as licenses, insurance, contracts, renewals, inspections, and training.
- Help identify ways to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, and save money.
- Handle confidential employee, donor, financial, family, and organizational information with discretion.
What You'll Bring
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing track of the details.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with Canva and the ability to learn new software and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of the team.
- A genuine commitment to the mission of Habitat for Humanity Corpus Christi and serving our community.
Education and Experience
An associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred. Experience in office administration, operations, nonprofit administration, HR administration, communications, or a related field is also preferred.
Schedule and Physical Requirements
M-F 8:30-5:00

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
