Education & Workforce Committee

Are you a business owner or community leader interested in education and workforce development? We invite you to join the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce Education & Workforce Committee.

The Committee strategically focuses on collaboration, aggregating and leveraging resources in partnership with like-minded organizations and individuals across the community. Through data-driven decision-making, the Committee works to strengthen the preparation of the local workforce and support long-term economic development in the region.

As part of this effort, we are excited to highlight an important initiative from Raise Your Hand Texas. They are calling on Texas lawmakers to transform how public education is funded by establishing a new education endowment. The proposed “Legacy Education Fund” aims to diversify revenue sources and provide increased, sustainable funding for public schools across the state.
