Through data-driven decision-making\, the Committee works to strengthen the preparation of the local workforce and support long-term economic development in the region.
\n\nAs part of this effort\, we are excited to highlight an important initiative from Raise Your Hand Texas. They are calling on Texas lawmakers to transform how public education is funded by establishing a new education endowment. The proposed &ldquo\;Legacy Education Fund&rdquo\; aims to diversify revenue sources and provide increased\, sustainable funding for public schools across the state.
