Landry's Kitchen Debuts in Corpus Christi!
LANDRY’S KITCHEN DEBUTS IN CORPUS CHRISTI –
Serving Southern inspired coastal comfort food at an approachable price point.
Corpus Christi, TX – Landry’s is thrilled to announce the opening of Landry’s Kitchen – Gulf Coast Cookin’, a brand-new, full-service restaurant concept now serving lunch and dinner at 5025 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi. This coastal comfort inspired eatery blends bold coastal flavors and laid-back vibes with a touch of Southern hospitality at an approachable price point.
Rooted in the bold flavors of the Gulf and built to offer locals something fresh, fun, welcoming, and affordable, Landry’s Kitchen is designed to be the neighborhood go-to for good eats that won’t break the bank. The casual atmosphere invites guests to come as they are, kick back, and dig into a crave-worthy menu of Gulf Coast classics and comfort food favorites.
“This concept was all about giving the Corpus community a place where they can relax, have fun and enjoy delicious food,” said Shah Ghani, COO of Landry’s Kitchen. “It’s a space for locals to unwind, grab a good meal either by yourself, or with all of your friends and family. We wanted to serve delicious food at an affordable price.”
The menu is a celebration of Southern-inspired comfort and coastal fare, starting with shareable favorites like Oysters on the Half Shell, Boiled Shrimp, Fried Zucchini, Stuffed Jalapeños, and crowd-pleasing Shrimp Kisses wrapped in bacon and glazed with chipotle BBQ, and of course, Landry’s signature Shrimp or Chicken & Sausage Gumbo. Standouts include the signature Kitchen Sink Nachos—a dramatic tableside nacho drop layered with cheese, blackened chicken or spicy beef, and all the fixings. No coastal menu would be complete without a rotating lineup of po’boys, a great selection of fried and boiled seafood platters, cooked to order fish selections, and Surf & Turf kabobs. Many shareables and entrees come in either small or large portions – great for nibbling on your own or to sharing with the crew.
Craving something hearty? Guests can also indulge in comforting favorites like Crawfish Étouffée, Red Beans & Rice with fried fish and andouille sausage, and a creamy Creole-style Mama’s Penne Pasta. Not feeling seafood? No worries - Non seafood options include steaks and Build Your Own Burgers, fully customizable and piled high just to your liking—single, double, or go big with a triple.
From the bar, Landry’s Kitchen serves up coastal-inspired cocktails like the Nacho Average Margarita (hand-shaken with Casamigos Reposado, spicy mango, and Tajín), Captain’s Punch, Mango Mojito, and the colorful Swamp Water. It also offers a full selection of crowd-favorite beers and wines, plus an impressive line-up of non-alcoholic sips for everyone to enjoy - like the Strawberry Basil Lemonade and Black Cherry Palmer just to name a few. Whether you are sipping on a classic Cab, cracking open a cold beer, or going zero-proof, the bar’s got your perfect pour. Weekday Happy Hour is available at the bar and on the patio runs Monday–Friday
from 3:30–6:30 PM offering drink specials including $5 wines and cocktails, $4 brews and a variety of bites from $4-$6.
Upon entering, Landry’s Kitchen strikes the perfect balance between casual comfort and coastal charm. With warm wood accents, nautical details, and soft lighting from overhead string lights, the space feels inviting and relaxed—like your favorite beachside hangout. Pops of blue and rustic textures create a fresh, easy atmosphere, while maritime-inspired decor, such as ship wheels and vintage photos, pay homage to the Gulf Coast. The seating includes a mix of traditional tables and high-tops, offering the perfect setting for everything from casual lunches to family dinners and group gatherings. The restaurant also offers an expansive covered patio where guests can dine. Along with the patio, the restaurant has a private dining room suitable for groups up to 100 people for events or special occasions.
