Blooming Together: A Night of Creativity and Connection at Build & Bloom

At Bricks & Minifigs Corpus Christi, we believe in building more than just great sets—we are all about building community. We recently hosted our Build & Bloom event, and it was the absolute perfect evening for the ladies of Corpus Christi to pause, relax, and unwind together.

As proud members of the United Chamber of Commerce, our goal was to create a vibrant, welcoming space where women in our community could take a well-deserved night out to treat themselves, connect with friends, and discover some incredible local talent. From the buzzing energy in the room to the beautiful creations everyone took home, Build & Bloom was an unforgettable success!

LEGO® Isn't Just for Kids: Finding Joy in the Bricks

One of the absolute highlights of the night was watching everyone get hands-on at our building tables. To tie into our theme, each attendee got to build their very own LEGO® flower to take home.

A Beautiful Reminder: This activity was the perfect way to showcase that LEGO® isn't just for kids! We loved seeing the ladies discover the relaxing, creative, and therapeutic joy of building. It proved that no matter your age, there is always room for a little creativity and play in your life.

Unwinding and Supporting Local Creators

Beyond the building tables, the evening was all about experiencing the best of our local community. Attendees got to mingle, chat, and get hands-on with some truly unique interactive experiences and shopping pop-ups.

We want to extend a huge thank you to the local businesses who brought so much flavor, beauty, and creativity to our store for the night:

• Custom Style: Ladies got to channel their inner designers at a gorgeous custom hat bar hosted by the Brittany Taaylor Boutique.

• Sweet Treats: The room smelled incredible thanks to the delicious, fresh bakery items provided by W Star Ranch.

• Artisan Goods: Guests treated themselves to beautifully crafted, handmade soaps from Eden’s Touch Co. and scouted out the perfect custom magnets from The Magnet Moment.

• Creative Flair: Beautiful, intricate live henna designs were flowing all evening courtesy of Henna by Skylar.

• Fresh Florals: Everyone got to complement their brick creations with a stunning, interactive live floral bar by Rose Soiree.

A Night of Connection

Whether attendees came to shop, get creative, or just enjoy a night out with the girls, Build & Bloom proved exactly why supporting local is so rewarding. It wasn't just about the shopping—it was about the laughs shared, the new connections made, and the chance for the hardworking women of Corpus Christi to take a breath and enjoy a night just for them.
