Shark Week Screening: "The Lost Cage"

The Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies (HRI) invites the Costal Bend Community to celebrate their participation in Discovery Channel's 2017 Shark Week with a live screening of the episode "The Lost Cage" at 8pm on July 26 at Brewster Street Icehouse. 

Watch as the team of HRI researchers spends 10 days 500 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico working on an artificial reef fully immersing themselves into the ecosystem and learning about the sharks that utilize these unique habitats.

A special meet and greet with the HRI researchers and shark-tagging demonstration will take place at 6pm. There will be shark themed giveaways throughout the night.
