SAMC Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods
The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is proud to host Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods on Friday, Feb. 28, and Saturday, Mar. 1, at 7:30 p.m.
The matinee show is on Sunday, Mar. 2, at 2 p.m. Additional performances will be on Thursday, Mar. 6, through Saturday, Mar. 8, at 7:30 p.m. Stephen Sondheim, the most celebrated composer in Broadway history, tells us the fairy tales that we only think we know in his award-winning musical about what happens after happily-ever-after. The play will take place in the Warren Theatre in the Center for the Arts, and there will be a bonus improv show by The Breakers Improv Group after each Friday night performance. Ticket prices are $12 for general admission, $10 for students, seniors, and military, and $8 for the Sunday matinee, and can be purchased at tamucc.tix.com or the Center for the Arts box office.
