Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is a proud sponsor of the People’s Literary Fest from Thursday, March 6, through Saturday, March 8, in various locations across Corpus Christi. People’s Literary Fest is celebrating its 10th year of supporting new and established writers by bridging literary borders and genres.
The festival brings writers and readers into dialogue, honors self-expression, and inspires creativity in its readings, workshops, networking opportunities, open mics, and local book sales opportunities. This free, three-day event includes literary showcase readings in fiction, memoir, and poetry, eight creative writing workshops, and a Saturday book fair. As part of the festival, organizers have partnered with First Friday Art Walk and will be at multiple locations for Open Mics and Readings on Friday, March 7, from 5 to 9 p.m.
