Blacklock's Introduction to Fascinating World of Birds short course
Acclaimed birder, naturalist and author Gene Blacklock will present his Introduction to the Fascinating World of Birds weekend short course, with class from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m., Friday, April 11; and field trip 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 12. The short course, a basic introduction designed especially for beginning birders, studies some of the more than 450 known bird species in South Texas. The Botanical Gardens is a Great Texas Coastal Bend Birding Trail site.
