BBB 2013 Shred Day
Join your Better Business Bureau for FREE On-Site Document Shredding this Month!
BBB Shred Day is an opportunity for local consumers and businesses to help prevent
identity theft through free on-site document shredding, electronics and cell phone
recycling.
FREE on-site document shredding and electronic
recycling, including cell phones, computer parts and
hard drives. First 500 people will receive gift bags which
include educational materials on how to best protect
your sensitive information.
Shredding and recycling services will be available from
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - or until the shred trucks reach
capacity - with a limit of 3 boxes per vehicle. Monetary
donations benefiting BBB Education Foundation will be
accepted.
In 2012, BBB Shred Day events helped consumers and
businesses shred 128 tons of personal paper documents
and recycle 29,761 lbs. of computer parts, 615 lbs. of old
cell phones and 6,071 lbs. of cardboard.
