The Department of English at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will host Author’s Day with a free and open-to-the-public poetry reading from this year’s guest author, Juliana Goodman, to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23rd at Lucy’s Snack Bar.
Juliana is the author of Too Perfect to Die, which will be released in July 2026, The Black Girls Left Standing, and “One on One,” in Out of Our League. Goodman received her MFA from Purdue University and has received the following recognitions: Edgar® Award for Best Young Adult Nominee; Cordell Larner Award in Fiction Writing; and, Tulsa Artist Fellowship Award in Literary Arts.This Author’s Day event is free and open to the public.
