Ribbon Cutting for Taco Palenque

My friends from Corpus Christi like Abraham Quintanilla, Lencho Rendon and Johnny Canales asked me to open a Taco Palenque.  We are still growing Taco Palenque in Corpus Christi. You have amazing city, people and visitors.  We would like to thank the community for making it possible to open our first store here. There were a lot of requests for a Taco Palenque in Corpus Christi on social media and here it is.  Our sister brand, Palenque Grill, is also coming to Corpus Christi. And the second Taco Palenque both at La Palmera Mall.  

Juan Francisco is also the founder of “El Pollo Loco”, opened it in 1975 and it was the first Mexican Restaurant Franchise to cross over and succeed in the US, with the opening of the first “El Pollo Loco” in Los Angeles, California in 1980. 

As for the menu, Pancho does not serve anything that he himself does not like and this practice has proven to be an advantageous one. 

In September 2018 he received a Star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars, awarded to him because of his humanitarian and business attributes.

The House of Representatives of the 85th Texas Legislature honored Juan Francisco “Pancho” Ochoa for his successful career and contribution in the restaurant industry and recognizing a life full of success with this Resolution.
