Ribbon Cutting for Red Cross-Coastal Bend Chapter

The American Red Cross of Coastal Bend serves 19 counties including Aransas, Bee, Calhoun, Colorado, DeWitt, Duval, Goliad, Jackson, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Lavaca, Live Oak, Matagorda, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Wharton and Victoria with services including disaster relief, CPR training and assistance to military personnel, veterans and
their families. 

Refreshments and open house

The Red Cross welcomes a new Executive Director to the Coastal Bend Chapter, Ms. Angelina Garcia. Angelina states:
“As disasters increase in frequency and intensity, I am pleased to have joined a community centered organization that works cooperatively with community leaders and partners to increase resiliency in the communities we serve.”

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
