Ribbon Cutting for CASA of the Coastal Bend

“We are excited to share with our community the Grande Communications Art of Caring CASA Kids Gallery.
The artwork featured is by foster youth who participated in events with their CASA volunteer throughout the past year. This gallery represents the significance of the relationship between our volunteers and the children they serve along with the many businesses and organizations who have supported creating opportunities for growing these children’s hearts and minds.”

CASA of the Coastal Bend serves children from Aransas, Nueces and San Patricio counties who were removed from their homes and placed in foster care because they were victims of abuse and neglect. During 2018, 147 CASA volunteers served 327 Coastal Bend children in foster care. There were an additional 800+ children waiting for someone to be their voice to help in finding them their forever home which is why we need more people from our community to step up to become advocates.
