Islander Lights and Holiday Gala

Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi will host the 12th annual Islander Lights Celebration on Friday, Dec. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the University Center, Lee Plaza, and East Lawn. The event will celebrate the holiday season with the community and campus with free food, entertainment, fun and games, a visit from Santa, a tree lighting ceremony and an opportunity to make a donation to Toys for Tots Corpus Christi, Texas. Also check out the 17th annual Holiday Gala presented by the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Department of Music at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Faculty and students will be performing all your holiday favorites for the whole family to enjoy. Tickets are $10 general admission, students $5 with valid SandDollar$ ID. Children ages 5 and under are free. Free pre-performance actitivies will begin in the PAC lobby at 6:30 p.m. Join Santa and Frosty for photos in the PAC lobby. Tickets can be purchased during the week of the concert in the TAMU-CC Center for Arts room 107 (cash & check only) from noon - 4 p.m. or in the PAC lobby an hour before the show.
