Dia De Los Muertos Kickoff Fiesta at Garcia Center

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is proud to host a Dia de los Muertos Kickoff Fiesta at the Antonio E. Garcia Arts and Education Center, 2021 Agnes St. on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 5:30-8 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, includes the opening of El Regreso de Las Almas youth art exhibition, in partnership with K Space, along with ofrendas/altars created by members of the Garcia Center, TAMU-CC, and Del Mar College communities in memory of their loved ones. There will also be refreshments, food trucks, musical and dance performances, a candy giveaway, and a dedication ceremony for the Garcia Center’s new flagpole and mural.
