Climb Out of the Darkness 2018

Climb Out of the Darkness®, the world’s largest event raising awareness of pregnancy and postpartum mental health disorders, will hold a regional Climb right here in Corpus Christi on June 23, 2018 from 10am - 12pm. 

Women and men who are survivors of postpartum depression (PPD), anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and psychosis will walk, stroll or climb together at Water's Edge Park to symbolize their collective rise out of the darkness as well as to raise funds for Corpus Christi Maternal Mental Health Coalition (CCMMHC) and Postpartum Support International (PSI), both are nonprofit organizations of support and resources for women. 

The stakes are high, and we are all in it together. This is the sixth annual Climb Out of the Darkness®, but this is the first time it is being held in Corpus Christi. We are holding it on the longest day of the year to shine the most possible light on maternal mental illness.
