2019 YWCA Annual Mission Membership Meeting
YWCA Celebrates 73 years of serving the community, Eliminating Racism and Empowering Women
Annual Meeting highlights program success, future direction
Corpus Christi – YWCA hosts its annual meeting Tuesday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the YWCA, 4601 Corona Drive, to share program updates, financial reports and election results with community partners and stakeholders during its annual business meeting. A special highlight will be a ribbon-cutting celebrating YWCA’s new mural, “Strong Alone, Fearless Together” by muralists Sandra Gonzalez and Monica Marie Garcia.
During the meeting, YWCA will formally introduce newly elected members of the 2019-2020 Board of Directors and 2019-2020 Nominating Committee. In a YWCA update, President/CEO Nancy Wesson-Dodd will review program changes, highlight program success and discuss future direction.
The 2019 YWCA Annual Membership Meeting is special this year: the YWCA USA CEO Alejandra Castillo is visiting and will preside over the dedication of the new YWCA mural! It is a spectacular work of art and the public is invited out to see it and attend the meeting.
Outstanding donors, volunteers and supporters of the organization will also be recognized for their unwavering dedication to empowering women and eliminating racism in the Coastal Bend community.
Contact YWCA at 857-5661 X 104 or ywcacc@ywcacc.org to register for the meeting. Everyone is welcome and invited to attend!
