DESCRIPTION:The Harte Research Institute (HRI) for Gulf of Mexico Studies invites the Coastal Bend Community to join them in celebrating Discovery Channel's 2018 Shark Week from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday\, July 24\, at Brewster Street Ice House. Learn how to identify different shark species and the science behind shark tagging with the scientists from HRI's Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation. A special meet and greet with the HRI researchers and shark-tagging demonstration will take place from 6-7 p.m. and rerun of HRI's Monster Mako episode will take place from 7-8 p.m. Sit back and relax on Brewster's deck and tune in for a live showing of a new Shark Week episode from 8-9 p.m. There will be shark-themed giveaways throughout the night.
