Out those loves grew the idea of creating HardKnocks as the first family friendly sports bar and grill in Corpus Christi.\n\n\n\nRod first came to Corpus in 2006 as the district manager for the area's 14 Lowes Home Improvement stores and fell in love with Corpus Christi.  When his brother left iHeartMedia in 2014 Rod convinced him to move to Corpus and together they begin to build HardKnocks as the area's first family friendly sports bar and grill.   \n\n\n\nHardKnocks will be hosting a Business networking luncheon event with 30 to 50 small business owners from throughout the Corpus Christi trade area.
