DESCRIPTION:Dr. Hallquist received her undergraduate and medical education\, with honors\, from the University of Arkansas.  She completed her Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center\, followed by a fellowship in shoulder and elbow at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio\, where she trained under world renowned surgeons in their respective fields. \n\n\n\nDue to personal experience as an orthopedic patient I am able to empathize with my patients and understand the importance of returning to athletics or work\, and enjoying everyday activities.  I'm thrilled to offer my services to the Corpus Christi community.\n\n\n\nDr. April Hallquist is an orthopedic surgeon and is fellowship trained in shoulder and elbow surgery.  She welcomes patients of all ages\, providing the complete spectrum of orthopedic diagnoses and treatments.\n\n\n\nA blessing from one of the Christus clergy\, remarks from our Vice President of Operations\, remarks from Dr. Hallquist.
