The artwork featured is by foster youth who participated in events with their CASA volunteer throughout the past year. "\n\n\n\nCASA of the Coastal Bend serves children from Aransas and Nueces counties who were removed from their homes and placed in foster care because they were victims of abuse and neglect. During 2021\, 150 CASA volunteers served 527 Coastal Bend children in foster care. There were an additional 350+ children waiting for someone to be their voice to help in finding them their forever home which is why we need more people from our community to step up to become advocates.\n\n\n\nAnticipating a Proclamation by Mayor for Child Abuse Awareness\, possible Swear In Ceremony of new CASA volunteers\, Ringing of Bells for victims of child abuse and neglect\, Ribbon Cutting of Art Gallery.
