However\, the festival has a greater purpose. Que Bueno! Taco Fest was created to be a signature event for Corpus Christi and The Ritz Theatre. Proceeds from the event go to restore the historic Ritz and fund the Artist Nurturing Program\, developed to support local artists encouraging them to stay in Corpus Christi and thrive here.
