SUMMARY:Patriot 5K Fun Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:Dear Supporter\,\n\n This year marks the 14th anniversary of the events of September 11\, 2001. In an effort to make sure Americans do not forget the attacks of that day\, and in order to honor the brave First Responders who made great sacrifices on our behalf\, as well as those who stand ready to do so today\, Interim Police Chief Mike Markle has announced the 5th annual Patriot 5K Run/Walk. The event will be held Friday\, September 11\, 2015 at North Shoreline Blvd. Event opens at 5 p.m. with a commemoration ceremony at 5:30 p.m. followed by the run at 6 p.m.\n\n\n\nThis commemoration is sponsored by Corpus Christi Police Foundation (CCPF)\, a 501(c) (3) whose mission is to create a safer Corpus Christi by strengthening the bond between the Corpus Christi Police Department and the citizens it serves. Instead\, participants will receive entry and a commemorative t-shirt complements of CCPF and its supporters. \n\n \nRunner bibs will not be random numbers\, but the badge numbers and/or names of the first responders who perished on September 11\, 2001.\n\n\n\n \nIn order to cover the overhead expenses of the event\, and to provide local supporters the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful commemoration of our public servants\, we are seeking sponsors at the following levels:\n\n\n\nFIRST ALARM - $5\,000:\n\n\n	Business name/logo on back of t-shirt\, banner at the start/finish line\, and all subsequent advertising and press kits involvement.\n	Business name/logo on sports towel\n	Lunch with Interim Chief Markle\, Chief Rocha and CCPF President\, Jay Wise.\n\nSECOND ALARM - $1\,000:\n\n\n	Business name/logo on back of t-shirt\, banner at start/finish line\, and all subsequent advertising and press kits involving event.\n\nTHIRD ALARM - $500:\n\n\n	Business name/logo on back of t-shirt and banner at start/finish line.\n\nFOURTH ALARM - $250:\n\n\n	Business name/logo on banner at start/finish line.\n\nThis event comes during a time when budget cuts affect all of our public servants. However\, through generous organizations like yours\, we are able to encourage everyone to unite and honor those who risk everything each day to protect us. If you are able to help make this event a reality\, please contact Tom Brown at 361-886-2832 or via email at TomB@ccTexas.com.
