The run is open to the public and coincides with Homecoming Week. The race features chip timing and a USATF certified course that is wheelchair accessible. The course is primarily on the hike-and-bike trail. A map\, details\, and registration are posted here: http://rotc5k.tamucc.edu/. Proceeds from the event benefit the Islander Army ROTC Cadet Club\, which allows cadets extra training and opportunities such as participating in the Bataan Memorial Death March.
