DESCRIPTION:Administered through the Coastal Bend Community Foundation\, the Coastal Bend Day of Giving is a one day only\, 24 hour\, online donation event offering the unique opportunity to make gifts that are doubled to local nonprofits serving the Coastal Bend area's neediest. This year\, 21 matching funders have pledged $650\,000 in matching grants\, allowing each nonprofit's gifts to double\, up to $16\,250 for each 40 participating nonprofit\, each raising at least $32\,500 in just 24 hours!\n\n\n\nIn the past six giving days\, the Coastal Bend community has come together to raise almost $5.5 million.  Participating in the Day of Giving is simple. You can preschedule your donation by visiting www.coastalbenddayofgiving.org\, November 1   November 9\, 2015.   Click "nonprofits"\, search for your favorite nonprofit(s)\, and click "Give".   You can choose to give using a credit or debit card or an electronic check and your transaction will be processed on November 10.  You can also join the excitement and donate on November 10 anytime between midnight to midnight. \n\n\n\nFight hunger   Support children   Improve health   Reduce homelessness   Right Here in the Coastal Bend.
