DESCRIPTION:Join the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce for the Chamber Business Update (CBU)\, presented by La Palmera Mall.  CBU strives to keep our members informed\, engaged and connected to important issues affecting our business community.  \n\n\n\nThis month features a guest panel and discussion on "Hurricane Harvey... Six Months Later." Guest speakers and topics include:\n\n	Congressman Blake Farenthhold will share a Legislative Update via Skype from Washington\, D.C.\n	Mary Millholland\, Branch III Director\, will discuss where we are in the recovery process.  She will touch base on the housing missions\, the importance of the private sector and community self-help. \n	Shelby O'Brian\, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Texas General Land Office\, will discuss the process and efforts involved in short-term recovery\, in addition to funding for communities to recover and rebuild. \n	Jennifer Armstrong\, VP of Communications and Legislative Affairs at Texas Windstorm Insurance Association will discuss where TWIA is in its Harvey response\, in addition to the next steps and available resources for policyholders.
