This drives test prep\, frustrates teachers and families\, and fails to give a meaningful picture of school quality.\n\n \n\nDuring this interactive experience\, you will step into the shoes of a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and design your ideal middle school by making critical decisions about curriculum\, staffing\, and programming. After building your school\, you will receive its official TEA A-F rating\, revealing how your thoughtful\, quality-focused decisions are judged by a system fixated on one metric.\n\n \n\nThis workshop is designed to motivate and equip you to advocate for real change.
