DESCRIPTION:Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites you to an unforgettable celebration of mariachi music at Festival de Mariachi en la Isla!\n\n\n\nNow in its fifth year\, this event will take place Wednesday\, April 2\, through Sunday\, April 6\, in the HEB Performance Hall at the Performing Arts Center. Enjoy vibrant musical performances throughout the week\, featuring area and regional high school mariachi ensembles\, the Island University's own Mariachi de la Isla\, the Corpus Christi Chorale\, dance performances by Alcorta's Compania de Danza Folklorica\, and a special Spanish Mass with local mariachis at Corpus Christi Cathedral.\n\n\n\nThis year's festival headliners include Mariachi Las Alte as on Friday\, April 4\, and Mariachi Los Galleros de San Antonio on Saturday\, April 5.
