DESCRIPTION:Join us for Coastal Bend's biggest day of philanthropy\, the 17th annual Coastal Bend Day of Giving.  Administered through Coastal Bend Community Foundation\, the Coastal Bend Day of Giving is a 24-hour\, online matching gift program benefiting charities providing basic needs such as food\, shelter\, medical care\, childcare\, and at-risk youth programs.\n\n\n\nThis year\, 24 matching funders have pledged $1.6 million in matching funds\, offering donors the opportunity to make gifts that are DOUBLED\, up to $25\,400 for each of the 63 local participating charities.\n\n\n\nYou can make your gift early during Early Giving\, October 27th - November 3rd.  To give to your favorite charity or charities visit CoastalBendDayofGiving.org and click GIVE EARLY TODAY.  Gifts via credit/debit card or an electronic check are accepted using a shopping cart method to allow donations to multiple charities in one transaction and processed the same day made.  You can also join the excitement and donate on November 4th (12:00am - 11:59pm).\n\n\n\nWith your help\, we can fight hunger\, support children\, improve health\, and reduce homelessness right here in the Coastal Bend.  Since inception\, over $36.6 million has been donated.
