DESCRIPTION:Administered through the Coastal Bend Community Foundation\, the Coastal Bend Day of Giving is a one day only\, 24-hour\, online matching fundraising campaign offering the unique opportunity to make gifts that are doubled to local participating nonprofits in the seven-county service area (Aransas\, Bee\, Jim Wells\, Kleberg\, Nueces\, Refugio\, San Patricio). This year\, 26 matching funders have pledged $1.3 million in matching grants\, allowing each participating nonprofit's gifts to double\, up to $24\,000\, each raising at least $48\,000 in just 24 hours!\n\n\n\nIn the past 13 Giving Days\, the Coastal Bend community has come together to raise over $24.3 million to help thousands of our neediest neighbors with much needed services.  You can make your gift early during Early Giving\, October 31   November 7\, 2022.   Participating in the Day of Giving is simple. Visit www.coastalbenddayofgiving.org and click "GIVE EARLY TODAY".  Gifts via credit/debit card or an electronic check are accepted using a shopping cart method to allow donations to multiple nonprofits in one transaction and processed the same day made.
