Welcoming 5 New Providers at South Texas Bone and Joint!
In September 2024, we welcomed Fellowship Trained Dr. Austin Mike-Mayer and Dr. Cody Ramirez to our orthopedic team of physicians and advanced practitioners. Both will be assets to the communities we serve and help us build on a 50-year foundation of patient care excellence. Dr. Mike-Mayer completed his fellowship at the Geisinger Hospital, where he underwent extensive training in a wide range of minimally invasive and open spine surgeries. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch on Galveston Island and his Medical Degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ramirez completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship Training at Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver, his Residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and his medical degree at Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio
In November 2024, we welcomed Michael Flores, FNP-BC, and Anna Cook, PT, DPT, to our team. Michael Flores, FNP-BC is board-certified in primary care and joined our team primarily as a provider for the Orthopedic Priority Care Clinics in Alice, Beeville, Portland, and Corpus Christi. Dr. Cook joined our Physical Therapy team as one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy.
In December 2024, we are welcoming Crystal Landgraf, FNP-BC to our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Surgery team. She will be providing care to patients alongside our 14 physicians and 13 Advanced Practice Providers.
We hope you will join us in welcoming these providers as we continue building, through professional recruitment, a practice that has established itself as the major subspecialty orthopedic group in the Coastal Bend. The future remains bright as we continue collaborating with and adding additional providers for our patients, to make Your Care, Our Priority.
