SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting for Rocky Road Husky Rescue
DESCRIPTION:We are an all-volunteer\, non-profit 501(c)3 that was founded in December 2021. We rely solely on the community to help us meet our mission of saving as many huskies as possible in the Coastal Bend. \n\n\n\nI started this rescue because of my passion for this breed. Rocky\, my first husky\, changed my life for the better and because of him\, we exist and are known as "The House that Rocky Built". This ceremony is to commemorate our first year of saving dogs\, which\, to date\, we have saved 15 and adopted 7 huskies.\n\n \n\nI started out volunteering for another husky rescue as a foster and worked my way up to their Board of Directors and eventually starting my own rescue. I went back to school where I earned my Degree in Business\, with a focus on Non-Profit Management. \n\n \n\nWe will also be doing a meet and greet with some of our adoptable dogs.
