SUMMARY:Je'Sani Smith Foundation Water Safety Scholarships for High School Graduating Seniors (2024)
DESCRIPTION:The Je'Sani Smith Foundation is now accepting applications for its annual Scholarship Program!  All High School Graduating Seniors (2024 Graduates) are eligible to apply in Nueces\, Kleberg\, San Patricio and Aransas Counties.  High School Graduating Seniors possess a letter of acceptance from an accredited university or college in the State of Texas and provide proof to be considered (acceptance letter).  A 1200-word essay on water safety and ocean rip currents is required. \n\n\n\nThe application deadline is May 15\, 2024.  Awardees are expected to attend our award ceremony in July or August 2024. Funds will be awarded in the Fall of 2024. \n\n\n\nApplications must be emailed as a single PDF (do not send multiple files or other\n\nfile types) to info@jesanismithfoundation.org. All information must be completed fully and\n\nformatted according to the directions on application. Otherwise\, applications will not be considered.\n\n\n\nApplicants will be reviewed by an independent committee. Students will be selected based on\n\nthe content of their application and essay\, regardless of which school they attend.\n\n\n\nEight ($1\,200.00) scholarships will be awarded this year\, thanks to our gracious Sponsors Valero\, Corpus Christi (6) and Pin Oak (2).
