DESCRIPTION:Family Counseling Service's mission is to strengthen children\, individuals\, and families in the Coastal Bend. Recognizing that the forefront to improving the mental health landscape in our community requires a conscious collaborative mindset across sectors\, our vision is to bridge the gap between mental health and accessibility through collaborative partnerships and through the development of technological solutions.\n\nFamily Counseling Service strives to meet the community where they are and offer the best recourse to those with limited opportunities. As our community grows\, we work with other entities to identify and connect resources. Family Counseling Service is taking action in communities across the Coastal Bend\, partnering with health care providers and working with organizations to break down barriers to better mental health for all.\n\nThe 2024 Conscious Collaborations Mental Health Conference will address provider burnout\, and work force solutions for mental health providers in the Coastal Bend. Conscious Collaborations will take place on May 16\, 2024\, at Port Royal Ocean Resort and Conference Center and will include required CEUs and CMEs for professionals in the mental health realm as well as engage current students interested in joining the mental health field.
